Active Team

Operational Members have completed all of the required training and have been active in the field of Search & Rescue with their K9 partners. Operational members continue training with their K9 partners through out their time with Ramapo to keep up and improve their skills as a Search & Rescue K9 member.

Trainees go through up to 2 years of training. This training consists of CPR and First Aid, K9 Medical training, Map, Compass and GPS navigation training. The area of training is in Wilderness, Urban and Water Rescue, both live and cadaver.
